but there is something about the atmosphere that does not really satisfy me. hypnotized, believe me, miles away and keep on going are very strong songs. Maybe this is fleetwood macs best album at all. Review written by Anonymous, October 14th, 2010 It’s a power that was really never heard again. Mystery to Me lacks the range and variety of Bare Trees, but in its own way leaves a powerful mark in Fleetwood Mac’s middle period. Other good tracks on this album are simply fun-to-listen-to rockers, “The City”, “Miles Away”, and “Hypnotized”. Its odd they instead chose the bombastic, over-vocalized “For Your Love” cover as the album’s single - it should have been “Emerald Eyes”, a song I’ve played over & over again.

This short ballad comes across real strong at just the right moments, then it leaves ….Exactly what a good hit single would do. The opening song, “Emerald Eyes”, grabs the listener on first play.

He asserts himself in the music exceedingly well.

Speaking of guitars, Bob Weston isn’t usually mentioned in ‘classic’ Fleetwood Mac discussions, but its his rippin’ & roarin’ which keeps this album a few steps above average. Yet it doesn’t rob one bit from the smooth melodic sound that's become characteristic of the band by now. There’s a refreshing amount of force on this album, guitar & drums right up front and not shy. Review written by Larry L, August 8th, 2011 There are 19 visitor reviews for Mystery To Me. If the Compact Disc becomes soiled by fingerprints, dust or dirt, it can be wiped (always in a stright line, from center to edge) with a clean and lint-free, soft, dry cloth. No cleaning is necessary if the Compact Disc is always held by its edges and is replaced in its case directly after playing.

For best results, you should apply the same care in storing and handling the Compact Disc as you would with conventional records. Its remarkable performance is the result of a unique combination of digital storage and laser optics.
